Our extensive experience in ambulance billing, as well as overall ambulance operations gives us a unique ability to offer not only ambulance service billing, but also general ambulance consulting.

Bob Durkin, director of business development

Durkin has worked in the EMS industry for more than seventeen years, starting in communications in Florida. He worked as operations manager for Automated Dispatch Services in Miami, an operation that provided more than five thousand emergency and non-emergency medical transports daily. He was a co-founder of Pinpoint Technologies, which merged with ZOLL® Medical and was subsequently renamed ZOLL Data Systems. As vice president of sales and marketing he helped grow Pinpoint Technologies from a four-person start-up to a $16 million company with clients in four countries by the time they merged with ZOLL Medical.  He has consulted around the country on ambulance operations, dispatch methodologie, and technologies, System Status Management (SSM), System Status Planning (SSP), and organizational workflow. 

Gaylene Garcia-Kabel, director of patient accounts

Garcia-Kabel has over 27 years in EMS and extensive experience in all aspects of patient billing including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and municipal and hospital contracts.  Her expertise is founded on her employment with multiple EMS agencies. This brings great diversity in her ability to enhance various billing processes and find unique solutions for issues that may arise.

Deb Schiferl, account manager

Schiferl has been in the EMS industry for nine years. She spent eight years at ZOLL Data Systems learning about the industry and using her customer-service background in their support department where she managed several strategic accounts.  Deb joined Pridemark in July of 2007 as an account manager.

Deb Moulton, customer service supervisor

Moulton has worked in customer service for over 25 years.  She has managed accounts receivable, refinancing, and customer-service departments in Colorado, Arizona, and Nebraska.  She came to EMS and Pridemark in 2005 when she joined the insurance follow-up department.

Stephanie Louzon, pre-bill and data-entry supervisor

Louzon started her EMS career with American Medical Response (AMR) as a call-taker handling non-emergent and emergent-transportation requests.  She has worked as a dispatcher and supervisor in a communications center.  Stephanie obtained the EMD-Q certification and audited EMD calls along with supervising and dispatching and became the communications manager during her last three years at AMR.  She joined Pridemark and worked as communications manager transitioning into the billing department where she supervises the pre-bill and data-entry departments.
